Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Berkay Zelyurt ("we"), the publisher of Vampire Villager ("the app"). By installing the app, creating an online account or playing online you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the online mode. Contact: zelyurtberkay@gmail.com.
1. The service
Vampire Villager is a social deduction game. The offline mode runs on one device. The online mode lets you create or join lobbies with other people, talk by text and voice, and play with roles assigned by our server. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the online mode at any time; we will try to give notice for planned shutdowns.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 where local law requires it) to play online.
- One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.
- Usernames must not impersonate other people, contain hateful or sexual content, or infringe anyone's rights. We may rename or remove such names.
- You may sign in with an email address and password, or with Apple or Google. Deleting your account is described in section 8 and in the Privacy Policy.
3. Conduct
Play fair and be decent to other players. You must not:
- harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against other players in chat or voice;
- post sexual content involving minors, or any illegal content;
- cheat, collude across devices, exploit bugs, use bots, or attack the service (including flooding, scraping or probing the API);
- share other players' personal information;
- advertise or spam.
You can block any player from the menu next to their name, or from Settings → Blocked players. A block hides their chat and silences their voice for you, and keeps the two of you out of the same lobby; they are not told. Creating another account to get around someone's block, or to evade a suspension, is itself a breach of these terms.
Chat messages are stored and profanity is masked automatically. Players can report messages and other players. We review reports and may warn, mute, kick, suspend or permanently ban accounts, remove content, and forfeit coins, at our discretion. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities.
4. Coins, ads and Pro
- Online coins are a game mechanic: earned by winning games or watching rewarded ads, spent on creating lobbies. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or refunded, and may be reset if we change the economy or if they were obtained by abuse.
- The free version shows advertising. The Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms; refunds are handled by the store. Pro removes ads and lifts the coin cost of creating lobbies.
- Rewarded ads are limited per day; we may change the limits and rewards.
5. Your content
You own what you write and say. By sending it through the app you allow us to store, display and moderate it as needed to run the game and enforce these terms. You are responsible for it.
6. Our content
The app, its artwork, music, names and code belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to play the game. Do not copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the app or its assets.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, are inactive for a very long time, or put the service at risk. A banned account cannot sign in; its data is still deleted according to the Privacy Policy. You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account in the app.
8. Account deletion
In the app: Play online → Account → Delete account. The account is deactivated at once and anonymised 30 days later; you can restore it by signing in during those 30 days. Details in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or compatible with your device. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or lost coins, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers in the European Union keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. Disputes go to the competent courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes the app asks you to accept the new version before you keep playing online; otherwise the new version applies from its effective date. The version and date are at the top of this page.
